IND vs BAN World Cup 2023 Live Score: Hardik Pandya limped off after picking up an injury while bowling.

India vs Bangladesh World Cup 2023 Live Score: Indian bowlers restricted Bangladesh to 256/8 in their fourth game of the 2023 ODI World Cup in Pune. It had been an inning after getting a good start from Tanzid and Litton kept losing its way. While it looked like they would get to 300 with ease in the first phase of the game the Indian spinners had their say in the middle overs.

Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav have been golddusts in the tournament because of their ability to pick wickets through middle overs. In the end, Jasprit Bumrah was magnificent yet again with his death bowling. Though Rohit lost Hardik to an injury early this is still a top bowling effort from the Indians. Shardul Thakur when needed to deliver did a decent job today. All in all, it is a below-par total from Bangladesh and the Indian side would be looking to chase it with ease and if dew comes in things will get even easier for the home side.

The Indian Express’ Sriram Veera and Devendra Pandey will be covering the game at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune.

Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first. Skipper Shakib misses out due to an injury for the visitors and Shanto will lead the side. India will be looking to keep their unbeaten streak intact as they face Bangladesh.

The Indian skipper wasn’t losing sleep about the crucial batting slot because he knew there was a capable batsman who would be back by the time the World Cup began. He was in a race to get fit.

“We have Shreyas Iyer. It’s just that due to his injury, and a couple of players we tried didn’t grab the opportunities, the ‘hawaa’ once again returned but since I knew Shreyas would be back, I had no sleepless nights over it. He has been perfect for us,” he had told The Indian Express. (Read more)
