Vijayasai Reddy is a strange man these days on Twitter. After a short break, he is back to Twitter with vengeance minus that abusive nature. This time the enemies he chose are also different.
He has been on a tirade against Daggubati Purandeshwari ever since she was made the AP BJP President. Purandeshwari herself could not win in 2024 and this serious attack is something really surprising.
The other day, he chose to attack Congress.
“Voting for Congress is voting for instability, policy confusion & corruption. Due to weak CMs presently, all decisions have to go through Congress high command,” he tweeted.
He even spelled doom for the Grand Old Party in the upcoming five states. “Mark my words, the Congress party will face a humiliating defeat in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan,” he said.
Congress is not even remotely a threat to YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh. Even Jagan Mohan Reddy does not attack Congress and he keeps his options open in case, there is a hung in Delhi. But why is Sai Reddy so aggressive?
Attacking Congress is maybe because he wants to be in the good books of the BJP. But why is he more eager than Jagan himself?
Attacking Purandeshwari may be tactical. Probably Sai Reddy wants a Central Ministry after 2024. AP can not have more than one berth for obvious reasons. So, he may be trying to rule out Purandeshwari so that he gets that one berth in the allies quota.
Things can even change if the BJP joins the TDP and Janasena alliance.
The Central Ministry is an issue of 2024. So many calculations may change by then. One can not stop wondering about the choices of Sai Reddy these days.
