Scotland go with an unchanged side against the USA for their second outing at the WXV2 in South Africa.
Having opened with a 31-17 win over the host nation, head coach Bryan Easson opts for consistency, although he is looking for an improved display.
“We’ve won four games in a row and the players who started last week deserve another shot on Friday,” he said.
“We feel in a good place and, coming into this game, we felt it was important that we stick to the same.”
Like Scotland, the USA started with a bonus-point win, scoring six tries in a 36-26 success against Samoa.
“USA are not unlike South Africa in terms of their physicality but I’d say they are more athletic,” said Easson.
“I think they will pose a threat in terms of their running with the ball but we’ve prepared well this week and hope to put in a solid performance.
“It was pleasing to open our campaign with a win. From a performance perspective, however, it was a physical, scrappy encounter and we probably didn’t get as much flow into the game as we would have liked.”
