Microsoft’s latest laptop computer — Surface Laptop Go 3 is now available for pre-order from partner brands like Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales. With a starting price of Rs 79,990, the latest Surface Laptop Go offers up-to-date specifications, which include a 12th Gen Intel Core processor, up to 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB of SSD.
With this price point, the Surface Laptop Go 3 will be competing against the MacBook Air M2, which is also available at a similar price tag. The base model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage costs Rs 79,990 and the high-end model with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage is priced at Rs 99,990. The laptop can be pre-ordered on Amazon for just Rs 1,999.

The key highlights of Surface Laptop Go 3 include a sharp 12.4-inch PixelSense screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio with support for touch input along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The laptop is powered by the Intel Core i5-1235U processor with 8/16 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of internal storage with Iris Xe onboard graphics.
The laptop just weighs 1.13 KG and offers a USB-C 3.2 and USB-A 3.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Surface Connect port for charging with support for 39W fast charging. The laptop has an anodised aluminium top and an aluminium and polycarbonate composite resin system with glass fibre, which includes 30% post-consumer recycled content.
In terms of wireless connectivity, the laptop offers Bluetooth 5.1 and there is also support for Wi-Fi 6. There is also a 720p web camera and out-of-the-box, the laptop ships with Windows 11 OS along with Microsoft 365 apps with 30 30-day trial. The power button also doubles as a Windows Hello powered fingerprint sensor and on a single charge, the laptop is rated to offer 15 hours of battery life.
