Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut prepares to cremate Ravana at the Lava-Kusa Ramlila held in connection with the Dussehra celebrations at the Red Fort in Delhi. The celebrations take place on Tuesday. Last year, actor Prabhas performed Ravana Dahanam. Kangana is also the first woman to perform Ravanadahana.
“For the first time in the 50-year history of the Love Kush Ramlila held every year at the Red Fort, a woman is going to burn the effigy of Ravana, Jai Sri Ram,” Kangana shared the video on social media.
Arjun Singh, president of Delhi Love Kush Ramlila Committee, responded to the news agency that women also need to be given equal importance in the ceremony and such a decision was reached by supporting the Women’s Reservation Bill.
The Women’s Reservation Bill will help in the development of the country and society. Women can also stop evil forces. They also have the right to do so. Arjun Singh added that this time Kangana was chosen for Ravana Dahan.
