A. On 24 (Tuesday) from 1.46 pm to 2.08 pm, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will perform puja at the Nandi Dhwaja at Palace Balarama Gate on the auspicious Makara Lagna. In the auspicious Meena lagna between 4.40 pm and 5 pm, flowers will be offered to Sri Chamundeshwaridevi.
25 thousand seat system
Tourists from all over the country have already camped in Mysore to witness Jamboosawari. In view of the fact that lakhs of people are going to gather on both sides of the road leading to the Jamboosawari procession, a security check has been made on the route leading to Chamarajendra Circle. A barricade has been constructed to prevent people from entering the road. Already in front of the palace, wide shamiana chairs have been placed and 25 thousand seats have been arranged to watch the jambusavari.

“Gajapade is fully prepared for the parade to be held on Vijayadashami day. Abhimanyu Ambari is going for the fourth time. Already, all kinds of exercises have been done including tree shed, Kushalutopu training, sand bag training, jambusawari flower spreading rehearsal. All the elephants in the yard are healthy. Bhima and Dhananjaya participated in the palace puja as elephants, said DCF Saurabh Kumar.
Jambusavari from where to where?
Heavy security has been deployed in the background of the Jamboosawari procession. The Dussehra procession will proceed from the palace premises to the Bannimantapa, and 6 thousand policemen have been deployed for Jamboosawari security. Police from different districts of the state who have arrived in Mysore are keeping an eagle eye everywhere.
More than 2 lakh people
It is expected that more than 2 lakh people, including locals and foreigners, will gather to witness the Jamboosawari and Panjina parade. Gold card, VVIP, VIP and general passes have already been distributed. RAF (Rapid Action Force) police have been given the responsibility of checking everyone along with installation of CCTV TV camera, metal detector machine at the entrance gate of Palace, Bannimanta.
Panjina parade preparation
As the Jamboosawari ends, the Panjina parade will be held at 7.30 pm at the Bannimantapa grounds. Governor Thawarchand Gehlot will watch the parade and receive the salute. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Sivakumar, District In-charge Minister Dr.HC Mahadevappa, Minister K.Venkatesh etc. will participate. After that, the curtain will fall on the 10-day-long Nadahabba through the stunt performance of the bike and cavalry troops for 2 hours.
