Nanded – In the city during the festive season, traffic rules are being enforced as retail shops are set up in the middle of the road, although big businesses are affected. In this regard, the encroachment department of the municipal corporation and the traffic control wing of the city police are not seen to be taking any action. At this time, the picture is being seen that all the rules are being put on the ground

Dussehra festival is just two days away. Diwali festival is also noticed by citizens. On this occasion, the main markets are thronged to buy clothes and other items. Customers are seen flocking to shopping malls as well as retail shops. A cluster of retail traders is seen in Wazirabad, Kalamandir, Doctor Lane, Srinagar, Gadipura, Itwara, Sarafa Galli etc. areas of the city.

As the shops are being set up on the road itself, the traffic in this area is completely disrupted. Even walking on the roads has become difficult. Along with that, the business of big businessmen is also affected. Municipal Encroachment Department and City Traffic Control Branch police do not seem to be taking any action against them. On the other hand, there is an allegation that the Municipal Corporation is collecting receipts of ten to twenty rupees from these businessmen. It is not seen that the municipal administration is trying to give another place to these retail traders

Retailers are affecting our business. Because of them, the transport system is disrupted. Apart from this, there is also an empire of garbage and dust on the road.

– Rameshwar Jadhav, Panpatti Commercial, Wazirabad.

Already the roads in the city are narrow. On the same roads, the carts of the hawker are standing every day. Retailers are affecting our business during the festive season. Motorists park their vehicles in front of our shops. The municipality should construct a parking lot in busy places at least during the festive season.
