Preparations for Dussehra fair completed in Bareilly. Akhilesh, who staged Ravana in Ramlila, said that for this work I had to bear the beatings of my family.

When the effigy of Ravana was burnt at night, people started running to collect the wood of the effigy. After which the police somehow chased him away.

Dussehra festival was celebrated with great pomp in Bareilly. Effigies were burnt at different places at night. Before this, preparations for the fair continued in the city and countryside since morning. Dussehra fair has been organized at 8 main places in Bareilly. The 456th Ramlila is being staged under the aegis of Shri Rani Mahalaxmi Bai Ramlila Committee Chaudhary Mohalla Bareilly. This Ramlila is the third oldest Ramlila of UP.

State government minister Dr. Arun Kumar also attended Ramlila in Subhashnagar.
