Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Sandeep Shandilya on Monday held a coordination meeting with personnel from Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) for the ongoing poll-related duties.
The force will work along with the city police in surveillance and checking. Mr. Shandilya spoke to the personnel about critical polling stations, flying squad duties and stressed quick deployment of the force by stationing the companies at critical points.
The ACP-rank officials were instructed to make arrangements for accommodation of the personnel and to work together. Mr. Shandilya instructed personnel from both CAPF and city police to exercise caution while discharging duties such as at checkposts and to avoid inconvenience to the public.
Additional CP (Law & Order) Vikram Singh Mann, Santhana Krishna District Collector, five Assistant Commandants, 11 CAPF company staff officers and others were present.
