Harris named his broken bat after Burger. The name of this bat is going to be either McCrispy or McSpicy, Harris said. But I’m definitely keeping this bat with me. I will get the handle back on this bat and it will be fine again.

Harris also set a record for the highest individual score in WBBL history, scoring 136 not out from 59 balls. Before them, Ashley Gardner and Smriti Mandhana had scored 114 runs.

Brisbane Heat won thanks to Harris’ century
Thanks to Harris’s century, Brisbane Heat scored 229 runs in the first innings, losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Perth Scorchers could score only 179 runs in 20 overs. Heat won by 50 runs.
