The term ‘Situationship’ has become very common in the Gen Z culture. This vaguely translates to a person being in a sexual relationship without any string attached to it.
Now, netizens are opining that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and her now husband Ranveer Singh were in a similar relationship back in the day.
In the viral video, Deepika is seen saying “Before Ranveer and I got married, we were seeing each other. But it wasn’t like we were committed. We were seeing other people as well. But in the end, I had Ranveer in my mind and decided to marry him.”
Reacting to this video, a netizen commented “Normalize cheating someone during a relationship 2023 explained in English!”. Another Twitter user commented, “this is everything wrong with this generation.”
A few are pointing out that we can see the pain in Ranveer’s eyes when Deepika speaks about seeing other people while also seeing him. This video has most certainly caught the attention of netizens and it is going viral.
Another netizen defended the couple as he said “It is very wrong to judge by watching the 43sec video, watch the entire show, you will know the depth of their love and care. Ok to Don’t like them for their acting but don’t poke your nose into anyone’s personal relationships.”
