शरद पूर्णिमा: चंद्र ग्रहण के कारण रहे जयपुर के सभी मंदिरों के पट मंगल

Jaipur, 28 October (HS). Lunar eclipse is taking place late Saturday night on Sharad Purnima. This rare incident is happening after thirty years. On this lunar eclipse, the doors of all the temples of Jaipur including the state will be auspicious and there will be no religious program of any kind. Due to lunar eclipse on Sharad Purnima, even Kheer Prasad will not be available to the devotees this time. Kheer made for offering in temples will not be distributed this time.

Before the lunar eclipse, the tableau of Thakur was decorated only for one hour in Jaipur’s adorable Govind Dev Ji temple. After which the doors of the temple were closed. The same trend continued in temples across the state. After the eclipse is over, the religious program will start after bathing the Lord with Ganga water. This eclipse period is going to prove to be a boon for the five zodiac signs. According to the information, the Sutak period on Sharad Purnima started from 4:05 pm on Saturday and the lunar eclipse will start from 1:05 pm and will last till 2:24 pm.

Swami Rajendra Das Devacharya Maharaj told that before the Sutak period, make kheer and keep it after adding Kusha grass to it and after the salvation of the eclipse, keep the kheer under the open sky and after Mangala Aarti in the morning, leave basil leaves in the kheer and offer it to Thakur ji. Can be applied and taken as Prasad.

According to astrologers, there will be no pujas related to Purnima in temples and homes at night. Nor will kheer be made. Due to eclipse, kheer will not be kept even in moonlight. As a formality, Kheer will be offered to God in the morning as part of Sharad Utsav in the temples and distributed among the people before Sutak. Havan will be held late night in many temples including Sarasnikunj. After the eclipse ends at 2.33 pm, after puja and bath, kheer will be kept in the moonlight.
