Nara Lokesh wasn’t bogged down by the defeat he faced in the 2019 elections in Andhra Pradesh. He is working on staging a winning comeback in 2024 and he is setting the right stage for the same now.
Incidentally, there has been an irrigation water problem at Peddavadlapudi, Mangalagiri for a few years now. Despite the multiple requests from the local farmers, there has been no movement from the YCP government.
The issue here is that the bushes and weeds in the irrigation canal created a blockage and obstructed the irrigation works there.
Lokesh has now take it upon himself to clear the issue and he commissioned a cleaning operation there will help from machinery and the issue has been solved now.
While the government has been failing to clear the simple yet menacing problem, Lokesh has done an effective job by sorting out the same for once and for all. This has greatly impressed the locals and the farmers are lapping up the social act by Lokesh.
This is an elaborate project as it covers a whopping 8.4 kilometres of clearance of irrigation stream and Lokesh has commissioned the same.
