The election fever has already caught up in Telangana as the state is headed for the polls in November while the counting will be on December 3rd. Now, the other twin Telugu state, Andhra Pradesh is also set to enter the election mode.
AP election commission chief Mukesh Kumar has stated that Andhra Pradesh could have its election notification come out next March.
The first list has a total of 4,02,21,540 voters in the state. The election commissioner stated that a total of 10 lakh fake votes have been detected till now and have been subsequently removed from the list.
The final list of voters will be prepared by the 1st of January. The EVMS manufactured by BHEL company will be used for the AP polls.
Anantapur district has the highest number of voters – 1979,775 while Seetharama Raju district has the lowest – 7,40,847.
