2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan All Details

The much-awaited 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan will make its world debut on November 7, 2023. Ahead of the official debut, we got the chance to have a closer look at the dual-purpose adventure motorcycle. RE is yet to reveal the official specifications, but we bring you a first look video of the ADV that shows the key changes in terms of looks, features and some mechanical bits.

Our first ride impression of the new Himalayan will be live on our Youtube channel (ICN Studio) on November 10, 2023. As per the leaked info, the 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan will be powered by an all-new 451.66cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine with DOHC configuration. This engine is likely to produce around 39.57bhp and around 40-45Nm of torque, and is expected to have a power-to-weight ratio of around 201.4bhp/tonne. The power-to-weight ratio is almost double from the existing Himalayan 411 that’s rated at 120.4bhp/tonne. The powertrain will be coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle will feature disc brakes at both ends along with a dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). It will be based on a new K1 double-cradle platform, which will be suspended with USD front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear. The motorcycle will have ride-by-wire tech, a digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity, and an all-LED lighting system.

The motorcycle will ride on 1510mm long wheelbase, which is around 45mm longer than the Himalayan 411. The adventure motorcycle has a kerb weight of 196kgs, while the gross vehicle weight (GVW) stands at 394kg. It will feature 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped in off-road-ready rubber. The motorcycle has round-shaped LED headlight, a beak-like fender, a bigger fuel tank and a larger windscreen, split seating, and a compact tail-section. The new motorcycle will be positioned right between the Classic 350 and the Interceptor 650. It will rival the KTM Adventure 390 and the BMW G310 GS.
