New Delhi: Air pollution in the national capital Delhi is gradually increasing. Since the last three days, the intensity of air pollution has been continuously increasing. The Air Quality Index (AQI) which was 322 on Monday reached 327 on Tuesday. It rose to 336 on Wednesday morning. System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR)- India revealed these details.
Experts say that the dense smoke emitted by farmers in Punjab state, which is a neighbor of Delhi, due to stubble burning in their crop fields is causing the increase in Delhi’s air pollution. Pollution is increasing as this smoke adds to the moisture in the winter air. There is a threat to the health of the people of Delhi.
