As the elections in Telangana draw near, there is upheaval within the state’s BJP. It has been reported that both Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy and Vivek Venkataswamy have left the Telangana BJP, with both of them seen wearing Congress scarves. Additionally, Komatireddy has been offered the Munugodu MLA ticket.
There are rumors circulating in political circles that two more leaders may also defect to the Congress. According to Congress sources, Vivek is expected to receive the Peddapally MP ticket, while Vamsi may be given the Chennuru MLA ticket. There are indications that another prominent figure within the BJP may resign as a result of these recent developments.
This situation has become a significant topic of discussion in Telangana politics. Vijayashanthi and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy are well-known figures in Telangana politics, both having served as Members of Parliament in the Lok Sabha. They had initially left the TRS and joined the Congress before moving to the BJP.
It is rumored that both Vijayashanthi and Konda are planning to rejoin the Congress, which has come as a shock to the BJP. The BJP had decided to contest the elections in alliance with JanaSena, and there were discussions about Jana Sena fielding candidates in three constituencies within the Chevella Parliament. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, dissatisfied with this arrangement, seems to be reconsidering his position within the party.
