Vaibhav Ramireddy is returning to the big screen with an out-and-out fantasy comedy titled ‘Aalambana’. This Telugu-Tamil film will be released in theaters on December 15th.
The theatrical release rights are grabbed by Ganga Entertainments.
According to the plot, Vaibhav’s character comes from a super-rich family. Their fortune vanishes due to a twist of fate, and the entire family is thrown into financial ruin. Ironies and witty dialogue pepper their journey from a mansion to a slum.
The big twist occurs when a genie, misidentified as the devil by the male lead, is unintentionally released from a vessel. The genie apparently bodes well for the hero, but there is a roller-coaster plot involving it, some funny gangsters and comedy villains. Murali Sharma, Munishkant, Yogi Babu, and a slew of senior actors star in the film.
The film, directed by Kotapadi J Rajesh and produced by KJR Studios and Koustubh Entertainment, features action scenes directed by Peter Hein. Hip Hop Tamizha composed the music.
