Five Nights At Freddy’s Beats Taylor Swift In Weekend Box Office

FNAF Box Office

Five Nights At Freddy’s is indeed having a dream run at the box office. With a budget of just $20M, the film is on a rampage. Although the film saw a massive drop in the box office, it is still sitting at the top.

Universal’s adaptation of the classic video game has had a solid box office performance, grossing $113M to date. In terms of the previous weekend, it collected a whopping $80M. And now, the song of success continues as it maintains its top position this week.

The second week, though it observed a massive drop, is an expected event for all the other competitors. Also, Five Nights At Freddy’s has been released on Peacock, and more and more people are opting for the OTT option.

After a 10-day run at the box office, it has already become the highest grossing horror film, overtaking movies like The Nun 2 and Scream VI.

As FNAF holds the pinnacle position, Taylor Swift grabs the second spot. This week has been fairly kind to the star, as the movie grossed $13.5M, reaching a total of $166M in terms of domestic numbers. In the global market, $231M looks like a great number.

Martin Scorsese’s creation also remains the talk of the town, marking one of the greatest performances by Leonardo DiCaprio. This also showcased the partnership of Scorsese and Robert De Niro.

Scorsese’s creation continues the tale of underwhelming performance at the box office, grossing $7M this week and reaching the $100M mark in global box office.
