This German actress to portray Sonia Gandhi in Yatra 2

Following the tremendous success of Yatra in 2019, director Mahi V Raghav embarked on creating a sequel to the film. The production of this sequel, with Malayalam star Mammootty and Tamil actor Jiiva as the lead actors, has been progressing rapidly.
The production team has unveiled an intriguing update on their social media platforms. They’ve introduced German actress Suzanne Bernert in the pivotal role of Sonia Gandhi in Yatra 2 along with her character poster.
For those unfamiliar, this marks her fourth portrayal of Sonia Gandhi. She previously portrayed Sonia Gandhi in the Pradhanmantri series, 7 RCR series, and The Accidental Prime Minister film. Her notable performances in these projects were a significant factor in the Yatra 2 team’s choice to have her play this crucial role once more.
Yatra 2 is a collaborative venture between V Celluloid and Three Autumn Leaves, promising an engaging political thriller. The musical score for the film is being crafted by Santhosh Narayanan.
