The Galaxy M34 5G has made its way to Indonesia this week, four months after the phone’s initial launch. Samsung is touting the 6,000 mAh battery inside the Galaxy M34 as one of the highlights, apparently because research has shown that Indonesia is currently the country with “the highest level of mobile usage in the world.”
It basically means Indonesian users use their phones for more hours every day compared to customers in other countries and would benefit from the long-lasting battery life. Thanks to 25W charging support, the M34 also charges quickly, with Samsung claiming 43% charge in 30 minutes and 100% charge in 90 minutes.
The Galaxy M34’s specs include a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2340×1080) Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection, an Exynos 1280 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage (expandable by 1TB using a microSD card), a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 13MP front camera, and 5G connectivity.
The M34 runs Android 13 and One UI 5.1 out of the box and will get updates till (and including) Android 17. In Indonesia, it is available in Midnight Blue, Prism Silver, Dark Blue for IDR 4,099,000 (~$260). Those buy the phone between November 7 and November 11 will only have to pay IDR 3,999,000 and will get a free 25W charger so they can take advantage of the maximum charging speed.
