Ambedkar and Jyotiba Rao Phule ‘s dream kept alive by CM Jagan

Taking the message of the development and welfare achieved by CM Jagan’s government over the past four and a half years, the YSRCP’s top brass, including Ministers Peddireddy Ramchandra Reddy, Usha Shricharan, Merugu Nagarjuna, and MP Nandigama Suresh, along with Thamballapalle MLA Peddireddi Dwarakanatha Reddy and senior leaders such as Ponnapureddy Rama Subba Reddy, Hafeez Khan, Anil Kumar Yadav, Gummanur Jayaram, and Kumbha Ravibabu, led the massive Samajika Sadhikara Yatra in the Thamballapalle constituency on the thirteenth day of the ongoing Yatra.

The Yatra was a resounding success, witnessing massive participation from locals. Travelling across the assembly constituency, the bus was followed by several supporters carrying party flags on bikes, enhancing the fervor by chanting ‘Jai Jagan’ slogans throughout the journey. The Bus Yatra concluded with a grand public meeting addressed by a plethora of leaders.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Merugu Nagarjuna stated, “CM Jagan is making the social revolution dreamed of by Dr. BR Ambedkar and Jyotiba Rao Phule a reality, unlike any other Chief Minister in the country.” He emphasized the transformative work undertaken by CM Jagan’s administration. According to him, this yatra symbolizes the state’s progress achieved by empowering BC, SC, ST, and minority communities.

The minister also praised the state’s development initiatives and its commitment to the welfare of marginalized communities. He cautioned people against being misled by the false promises of the opposition and highlighted the unfulfilled commitments from Chandrababu Naidu’s previous tenure. Additionally, Minister Nagarjuna made a remarkable gesture by pausing his speech as an ambulance passed through the area, waiting for it to clear the road before continuing.

At the event, Minister Usha Sricharan echoed the sentiment, emphasizing CM Jagan’s dedication to improving people’s lives. Praising the Chief Minister, she said, “CM Jagan appointed women as chairpersons of corporations. He made me a cabinet minister, and under his leadership, all women can find several opportunities,” encouraging women voters to support the party for their families’ betterment.

On the other hand, former Minister and MLA Anil Kumar criticized TDP supremo Chandrababu for exploiting BCs solely as a vote bank throughout his political career. He highlighted the significant opportunities given by CM Jagan’s government to BC, SC, ST, and minority communities, leading the state towards development under his reformative leadership.

He further lamented the insulting language used by Chandrababu Naidu against BCs and urged people to remember that Chandrababu Naidu is a BC drohi and they should remember this while voting in the upcoming elections. Additionally, Minister Gummanuru Jayaram drew a sharp contrast and highlighted that CM Jagan has uplifted 139 BC communities in the last four and a half years. ‘People should remember that the YSRCP govt has maintained a dual focus on welfare and development and has attracted several industries to the state. CM Jagan not only brought development but also provided social and economic benefits for SC, ST, and BC communities,’ he remarked.

Besides, MLC Kumbharavi Babu questioned TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu over embezzlement of Rs. 6 lakh crore during his tenure. He went on to question Naidu’s involvement in the skill development scam for which he is being investigated.

Highlighting CM Jagan’s support for the children of the minority community and the improvement in education and healthcare facilities, he stated, “We should note the difference between healthcare opportunities under Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure and under CM Jagan’s leadership. CM Jagan has transformed government schools and hospitals.” He urged voters to support CM Jagan’s vision for the future and bring him back with a majority government in the upcoming elections.

_YSRCP’s Samajika Sadhikara bus yatra also took place in Parvathipuram constituency, Manyam district (North Zone) and Pedakurapadu constituency in Palnadu district (Central Zone).
