‘Mangalavaaram’ is slated to be released in theatres on November 17 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Its paid premieres will be held in Vijayawada, Vizag, Kakinada, Nellore, Bhimavaram and Guntur in Andhra Pradesh on November 16. Besides, multiple Hyderabad premieres have also been planned for the day.
In her latest interview, lead actress Payal Rajput suggests that it was a huge responsibility to shoulder a big-range, high-octane mystery thriller like ‘Mangalavaaram’. She further adds, “Some scripts intensely draw me towards them. I know director Ajay Bhupathi’s vision is a class apart. This is my second chance with him after the magnanimous hit ‘RX 100’. He is the only filmmaker who understands me inside out. He knows my potential like none else. I was longing to work with him.”
The actress has admittedly been waiting to make a comeback in Telugu. “It has been five years since I made my debut here. I hope ‘Mangalavaaram’ turns out to be a turning point. This is an out-of-the-box movie no one has tried before on the Indian screen,” she adds.
Produced by Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma M of Mudhra Media Works along with Bhupathi’s A Creative Works, the film has music done by Ajaneesh B Loknath of ‘Kantara’ fame.
