Top producer Dil Raju has been keen to release his upcoming film Family Star for Sankranthi 2024. The film features Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles and Parasuram is the director. He wanted to cash the advantage of the holiday season as the film is a family entertainer. But with the pending shoot and the post-production work, it is quite tough to release Family Star for Sankranthi. The team has now dropped their plans and Family Star will head for release during the first quarter of 2024. Vijay Deverakonda too needs a solid hit to bounce back and he is not in a hurry. He informed the same to Dil Raju.
There is a mad rush of films for Sankranthi and the team decided to push the release. The next schedule of Family Star will commence in USA and the shoot is expected to be completed by the end of December. Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, Ravi Teja’s Eagle and Teja Sajja’s Hanu Man are the films in Sankranthi 2024 race.
