The return ticket for 20 November, a day after the finale is Rs 37,000. The flight tickets for the trip are Rs 76,000. This would usually be Rs 12,000 round trip if it wasn’t the World Cup.
This is due to the World Cup fever, making the commute from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad one of the costliest trips in India currently. The flight ticket from Bengaluru is comparatively cheaper – Rs 25,000.
Even basic hotels in Ahmedabad are charging in upwards of Rs 10,000 while a few star hotels have gone from Rs 25,000 per night to a staggering Rs 2,50,000 per night.
