India, the favorite to win the ICC World Cup 2023, was unable to replicate its best performance in the decisive final match. Australia won the World Cup 2023 after defeating India in the final match. This is Australia’s sixth World Cup title.
The final was held on Sunday, 19 November 2023 at Ahmedabad stadium.
