The omission of Hazaranka, who was carrying Sanju as a bunny in the T20, was a shock to the fans at least to a small extent. After the Lankan Premier League, Hazaran was injured and missed the World Cup.
RCB retained the player for Rs 11 crore last season. But the actor was not able to bring out a performance matching that name and Perumak.
Last season, Hazaranka scored just 33 runs from eight matches at a strike rate of 117.86. The player managed to get only nine wickets in bowling.
But the player gave an incredible performance in the LPL held later. The actor shone in the role of captain and led Be Love Candy to the title.
Apart from this, Hazaranka, who topped the list of wicket takers and run takers, was also selected as the player of the tournament.
