New Delhi : Gurudwaras in Delhi are illuminated on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Today a big gathering has been organized at Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib. According to the information received from Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Diwan will be decorated in Bhai Lakhi Shah Vanzara Hall of Rakabganj Gurdwara. Here Ragi groups coming from India and abroad will perform Kirtan. Guru Nanak Dev Ji had given the philosophy of chanting name, doing praises and striking the stick. Everyone has also kept vigil on this. During the Corona period, people from all over the country and abroad saw how the Sikh community has served all the people. The community is moving forward with this message.

Gurdwaras of Delhi have been decorated
Giving information about the special function, the committee officials said that the function will start after Sukhmani Sahib and Nitnem at 3:30 am on Monday. After this, Asa Di Vaar will take place at 5:30 pm. Kirtan Samagam will start from 8 o’clock. Hazuri of Sri Darbar Sahib will perform Ragi Kirtan at 9 o’clock. Bhai Chamanjit Singh of Delhi will perform kirtan from 12 noon to 1 pm. Kavi Darbar will be organized at Lakhi Shah Vanzara Hall from 4 pm onwards. Kirtan will continue in the evening also. Kirtan will be followed by Ardaas at 12:15 pm and after that Bhog will be served. During this period, langar will continue continuously. According to the information, Gurupurab will be celebrated with big gatherings at Lakhkhi Shah Vanzara Hall of Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib and at night at Gurdwara Majnu Ka Tila. This time, you can also listen to live Gurbani of Gurmat Samagam from 9 am to 10 am on All India Radio. Apart from this, it will also be shown live on the committee’s website, YouTube channel and Facebook page.

After Ardas, Nagar Kirtan started at Gurudwara Sisganj Sahib at 9:30 am on Sunday, which was led by the five beloveds. In this, Guru Granth Sahib Ji was adorned in a very beautiful Palki Sahib. The group of Guru’s beloved Nihang army along with their horses participated in the city kirtan. Apart from this, groups from various organizations also participated. A large number of Sangat along with their convoy of cars took part in the Nagar Kirtan. Starting from Gurdwara Sisganj Sahib, Nagar Kirtan passed through Khari Baoli, Azad Market, Sabzi Mandi, Rana Pratap Marg, Bebe Nanaki Chowk and ended at Gurdwara Nanak Pyau Sahib late in the evening. At many places the Sangats welcomed the Nagar Kirtan by showering flowers. The five beloveds and others were honored by presenting them with siropao. Today, on the day of Gurpurab, Gurmati Diwan will be decorated in all the small and big Gurdwaras of Delhi and a special function will be held in Bhai Lakhi Shah Vanzara Hall built in Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib.
