Animal is a movie directed by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga with a talented hero like Ranbir Kapoor. This movie was released today. And let’s go to the review and find out how much it pleased the audience!
Story:
Ran Vijay Singh Balbir (Ranbir Kapoor) is madly in love with his father Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor). However, Balbir Singh is a busy businessman. He runs India’s largest Swastik Steel Factory. He cannot spend much time with his son in his busy life. Due to some incidents in this sequence, the distance between Ran Vijay Singh and Balbir Singh increases. So, he sends his son to a boarding school. Amidst some dramatic developments, Ran Vijay Singh falls in love with Geetanjali (Rashmika), marries her and leaves for the US. However, after learning about the assassination attempt on Balbir, he returns to India. Who really wanted to kill Balbir Singh? How will Vijay take revenge on his father’s enemies? What difficulties did he face for that? What happened in the end? That is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
Ranbir Kapoor acted in different variations according to the circumstances of his character. Especially with his body language, Vijay acted very well in some action and flashback sequences. Especially Ranbir is the highlight of this movie not only with his acting but also with his looks. Anil Kapoor’s performance as father in another key role was impressive. The emotional drama between father and son is also good. Bobby Deol, who appeared in another key role in the second half, also looked very wild and impressed.
In terms of acting, Bobby Deol has done much better than his previous films in this film. Rashmika Mandanna is pleasing as the heroine. She tried to act settled even in heavy emotional scenes. Another heroine Trupti Dimri’s performance is good. She added glamor to the movie in some bold scenes. Charu Shankar, Shakti Kapoor and Bablu Prithvi Raj as well as the rest of the cast have done well in the scope of their roles. Action episodes and emotional scenes written by director Sandeep Reddy are good.
Minus Points:
There is no strong story in this movie, which is about a son with his mad love for his father and what he did for his father. How did he kill the enemies who wanted to kill his father? That is the main story. In addition to this, every character in the story, every emotion of those characters is forced. At some places the emotions are at their peak stage.. Why is this character behaving like this? Suspicion is also haunting. In fact, Sandeep, who designed the flashback for Ranbir Kapoor’s character Talu well, did not write the treatment of this animal movie to the same extent.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga has failed at some places in writing a particularly interesting story. Many scenes feel very slow going. Moreover, Sandeep Reddy, in the same style as his previous films, also directed this film with regular play. He led the first half fast, but the second half was too long. Except in the climax, the rest of the story failed to increase the curiosity. Although there is a possibility to make the original story more interesting, Sandeep Reddy ended the movie in his own style.
Technical Department:
Although the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has emotionally directed some scenes well, he could not write the animal stories in a way that is fully impressive for the story line taken. The background score in the movie is good. The songs given by the music director don’t matter. Cinematography is good. Most of the scenes in the movie have been shot very beautifully. When it comes to editing, some stretched scenes here and there should be reduced. The length of the movie has increased. The producers made this film without any compromise. The production values are very good.
Verdict:
Ranbir Kapoor’s performance, huge wild action scenes, bold elements and heavy emotions and the climax are good in this movie called ‘Animal’ which is a high voltage intensive action drama. So, even though there is a strong emotion and conflict in the film… in that emotion, in that conflict, the audience is so involved.. They are not exactly establishment. Along with this, interesting elements were missing in the second half. Overall this film will appeal to action lovers and Ranbir fans only.
