Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said that his party is working with the TDP and is not falling behind the TDP. He said his party had tied up with the TDP only to send chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy out of power.
Pawan Kalyan spoke at the meeting of the party Assembly constituency incharges at the party’s Mangalagiri office on Friday. He said that the Jana Sena was formed with an ideology to work for the welfare of the neglected sections. He said that the party had never aspired for power and even he did not aspire for power.
The party would always support the poor and neglected sections. The party’s agenda is the welfare of the people and development of the state, he said. He appealed to the party leaders to support his idea of working with the TDP in the coming elections.
Pawan Kalyan said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had become a very strong leader to fight alone. He had to tie up with the TDP to defeat Jagan Mohan Reddy and keep him out of Andhra Pradesh at least for next ten years.
He also sought to advise the party leaders to understand the importance of defeating the YSR Congress. He told them that defeat of the YSR Congress is more important to him rather than who would become the chief minister and who would form the next government.
Pawan Kalyan also appealed to the party leaders not to fall in the trap of the YSR Congress who might raise the caste issues. He said that castes would not help in politics. The leadership of the party is to be strong and asserted that he is strong in defeating the YSR Congress. He wanted the leaders to work with the same ambition and ensure that Jagan Mohan Reddy is sent back to jail.
