Animal has taken biggest non holiday opener ever for a Hindi film beating Pathaan . It has collected 112 Cr gross worldwide on its opening day and stands just behind Jawan which was a partial holiday release. The film has taken bumper opening right from the morning shows & didnt slow down from there. Also there is a capacity issue for the film due to its runtime, if not for that it would have added more numbers. AP/TS gross numbers for the film stands at 13.9 Cr which record for a Bollywood film.
In usa it has recorded biggest premiers ever for a Hindi film with the help of Telugu contribution.
