Malavika Mohanan has been trying for a long time to see herself on the Telugu screen. But her first film is yet to find salvation. It is being postponed from time to time.
Director Maruthi is making a film with Prabhas as the hero. It has been over a year since the shooting of this film. But till now there is no announcement about this movie. Not a single photo was released. There is also confusion regarding the release of this movie.
Prabhas starrer “Salar” will release on 22nd of this month. With that, it seems that the major films in Prabhas' hands have been released. Next year his movie “Kalki” will be released. The shooting of “Kalki” is completed and the release date is fixed, the movie being made by Maruthi will get salvation. Until then, Malvika Mohanan will have to wait. Looking at the current situation, the Prabhas – Maruti movie will be released after another year (i.e. before December 2024).
In fact, Malavika should be introduced to Telugu cinema with the film “Hero”. Mythri Movie Makers had launched a huge film four years ago with Vijay Devarakonda as the hero and Malavika as the heroine. But the producers did not like the footage taken by that new director. So it was stuck. Malavika's Telugu entry has been postponed for four years.
