Disha Vakani played Daya opposite Dilip Joshi in Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma. However, Disha has been away from the show since 2015 and fans are still hoping that she will make a comeback. There have been many times when producer Asit Kumar Modi has said that he is trying to bring Disha back to the show, but if she doesn't come back, they will give someone else a chance to be Daya in her place.
