The Manipur government on Sunday (December 3) restored mobile internet services in the entire state except a few areas till December 18. According to the state government, keeping in mind the improvement in law and order and the inconvenience caused to the people due to mobile internet ban, it has been decided to relax it.
The ban will remain in force within a radius of 2 km between Chandel and Kakching, Churachandpur and Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Kakching, Kangpokpi and Imphal West, Kangpokpi and Imphal East, Kangpokpi and Thoubal and Tengnoupal and Kakching districts. Mobile internet ban is going on in the state since May 3 after violence broke out in the state.
