Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the most dynamic filmmaker in Indian cinema with great commercial success to his name. But there is one very interesting thing that is observed in his latest film, Animal.
In Animal, the main man, Ranvijay, played by Ranbir Kapoor is seen smoking inside a church and then making the father puke out of agony by confessing his sins. The protagonist smoking inside a church is unexpected and striking.
And then, there is a scene where a woman in a hijab, is seen lighting up a cigarette along with another woman in Muslim attire. This is another shockingly attention-grabbing scene.
But at the same time, the protagonist greatly respects Hindu tradition as there is this one scene where he and Rashmika are seen performing a Hindu yagam with utmost sincerity and dignity.
This has now led to a comment on social media where people are pointing out that Sandeep Vanga has turned Sanghi Vanga by paying respect to the Hindu tradition while taking a dig at Muslim and Hindu culture. This hasn’t yet become a viral topic but could well be a ticking timebomb. Needless to say, there are many more strikingly provocative scenes in the film.
