Young Voters Gave Deadly Shock To KCR?

Telangana voters have picked Congress to form the government and it shouldn’t be long before the high command announces the chief minister. But in the retrospect, KCR’s BRS is contemplating what could’ve gone so wrong for them.

It is now understood that the youth voters have taught a lesson to KCR as a result of the unemployment rate and the cancellation of group exams due to question paper leaks have taken a toll on BRS.

Naraampet has 2,26,617 votes and 1,11,446 of them are aged 18-39. Warangal has 2,46,282 and 1,17,870 of them are in said age range. Out of Vardhannapet’s 2,60,555 voters, 1,27,648 are youth. All these three MLA seats were won by Donthu Madhava Reddy, Konda Surekha, and KR Nagaraju respectively.

The trend of the youth leaving BRS and picking Congress was seen across the state and it needs to be noted that the young age bracket voters have played a decisive role in the downfall of BRS.

The unemployment aspect has costed BRS a bomb and it has in turn helped Congress. But the onus is now on Congress to fare better than BRS on this front.
