- Maruti WagonR (78,351) is the best-selling CNG vehicle in India, followed by Maruti Ertiga (65,347) and Maruti Dzire (46,322).
- Maruti commands a 75% market share of CNG vehicles, as it offers CNG options across its product portfolio with a C-Series engine.
- This is followed by Tata (12%), Hyundai (11%), and Toyota, which has rebadged Maruti’s.
- Low-cost hatchbacks command 39% of the CNG vehicle market, followed by MUVs (26%), sedans (20%), and SUVs (15%).
