It’s been just two days since the release of “The Archies” on Netflix, and criticism has quickly surrounded the film, particularly focusing on the perceived lackluster performances of the main cast: Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan. While it’s true that the movie falls short in delivering depth through acting, the situation becomes more serious when criticism turns into outright trolling. Specifically, Suhana Khan, being Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, faces disproportionate blame for her supposedly subpar performance.

All three main leads have delivered inexperienced performances, and Agastya, hailing from the family of Amitabh Bachchan, and Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of the late Sridevi, also share this criticism. However, it’s Suhana Khan who bears the brunt of the trolling. While criticism may be justified, unnecessary trolling based on someone’s influential background seems excessively harsh, especially for Suhana. Such actions can significantly impact her future career.

It’s evident that while star kids may have an advantage in securing opportunities and support, they also endure constant pressure to consistently deliver their best. A case in point is Ananya Pandey, who performed well in “Gehraiyaan,” yet is primarily known for an unrelated incident – the ability to touch her nose with her lips.

This scrutiny reflects the broader challenge that celebrity offspring face, where a single misstep can detrimentally affect their overall public image and personality.
