India was the first country where the Galaxy S23 FE was launched. The device was announced a few weeks ago, and it was gradually launched in other countries, including South Korea and the US. The North American version of the phone features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, while the other version uses the Exynos 2200 chip. The version launched in India uses the Exynos processor, but it looks like the company is bringing the Snapdragon version of the phone to the Indian market as well.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version of Galaxy S23 FE could launch in India
Samsung has started teasing the launch of a new phone in India. The company has uploaded an image on Flipkart that says “The New Epic.” Looking at the artwork, it looks like the Galaxy S23 FE. However, since the Galaxy S23 FE is already available in India, the company could launch the smartphone’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version in the country. This is similar to what happened with the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy S21 FE in India. However, in those instances, the Snapdragon versions of the phones were launched at least six months after the launch of the Exynos versions.
In the case of the Galaxy S23 FE, it looks like Samsung is launching the Snapdragon version of the phone just a couple of months after the launch of the Exynos version. If this happens, it could anger some Galaxy S23 FE buyers who purchased the Exynos version of the phone because the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip is a bit more power-efficient than the Exynos 2200.
