Marvel Studios’ What If…? is an animated anthology series that explores alternate timelines in the multiverse, showing what would happen if major moments from the MCU films occurred differently. The series is based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name and is the studio’s first animated series from Marvel Studios Animation.
The first season of What If…? consisted of nine episodes that featured stories such as What If… Captain Carter Were the First Avenger?, What If… T’Challa Became a Star-Lord?, and What If… The Watcher Broke His Oath?. The season finale saw the Watcher recruit the Guardians of the Multiverse to stop Infinity Ultron, a threat that could destroy all realities.
The second season of What If…? is set to premiere on December 22, 2023, on Disney+. The season will also have nine episodes, with the following titles:

The season will continue the stories of some characters from the first season, such as Captain Carter and Strange Supreme, as well as introduce new heroes and scenarios.
