Telangana: 20 IPS officers transferred

The Telangana government, led by Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, has recently made a significant decision regarding the transfer of IPS officers. A total of 20 officers have been affected by this decision, with Ravi Gupta assuming the crucial role of the Director General of Police (DGP) for the state.

Anjani Kumar has been appointed as the Chairman of Road Safety Authority, while Rajeev Ratan takes charge as DG Vigilance and Information. Former Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand has been reassigned as the Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Abhilash Bista has been entrusted with the role of Director of the Police Academy, and Soumya Mishra got the position of Jails DG.

Shika Goyal has been appointed as the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and given additional responsibilities as Additional DG Cyber Security. Mahesh Bhagwat takes on the role of Additional DGP for Railways and Road Safety, while Anil Kumar becomes SPF DG.

Other key appointments include Stephen Ravindra as Homeguards IG, Kamalasan Reddy as the Director of Excise, and AR Srinivas as the Director of ACB. Chandrasekhar Reddy is named Hyderabad Range IG, M. Ramesh becomes the Managing Director of the Housing Corporation, and Ramesh Naidu is transferred as CID DIG.

Satyanarayana has been appointed as Joint Commissioner of Police for Car Headquarters, Sumathi as the Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB) Intelligence DIG, and Saratchandra Pawar as the DCP for Central Zone.
