Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s film, “Animal,” has just two days left in its theatrical run before the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” on December 21, 2023, and Prabhas’ “Salaar” on December 22, 2023. Once these big releases hit the screens, “Animal” is expected to wind down at the box office.
“Animal” has already surpassed the 800-crore mark globally, with over 500 crores earned at the Indian box office.
In a recent interview, Vanga shared plans for not just “Animal Part 2” but also “Animal Part 3.” The film’s portrayal of Ranbir Kapoor as an elderly character in his 60s is a strategic move tied to these future installments, revealing Vanga’s long-term vision for the franchise.
The sequel, potentially titled “Animal Park” or “Animal Farm,” will reunite Vanga with Ranbir Kapoor. The film’s conclusion suggests that Aziz, a professional butcher, will seek revenge for his brother Abrar’s death, assuming the appearance of Ranvijay (Ranbir Kapoor) after plastic surgery.
With “Animal” criticized for excessive violence, expectations are high for the sequel’s intensity.
