As per a report by Mark Gurman in Bloomberg, the goal is to have customer-ready units by the end of January, anticipating a retail launch in February.
Why Apple Is Taking Time to Launch Vision Pro?
The Vision Pro’s complex design requires a delicate fitting process, with custom headbands, Light Seals, and prescription lenses. Apple aims to address potential issues by sending retail employees for hands-on training at its headquarters, the report added. Despite the $3,500 price tag and limited initial supply, the company is making efforts to ensure a smooth customer experience.
While Apple targets a February launch, Gurman warns of potential production obstacles leading to delays. With no additional Vision Pro events planned, Apple’s focus is on maximizing the limited U.S. release and managing high demand, which may result in delays in meeting consumer needs.

The Vision Pro marks Apple’s entry into mixed reality, blending virtual and augmented reality. The company plans to enhance its retail stores, accommodate accessories, and educate employees for the complex launch.
