Ingredients:
1 cup sesame seeds (Til)
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup jaggery (gur), grated
A pinch of cardamom powder
1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
Chopped nuts for garnish (optional)
Preparation:
For prepping, sesame seeds should be pan-fried until they turn golden brown. Give them time to cool.
Grated jaggery is added to melted ghee in the same pan. Once the jaggery dissolves, stir it occasionally.
Incorporate the cardamom powder, desiccated coconut, and roasted sesame seeds. Blend thoroughly.
Let the mixture cool down a little. Rolling the mixture into laddus requires greasing your hands.
