Maruti Undefeated
Maruti Suzuki currently has over 5,000 pending orders for the Invicto 3-row MPV. This model is manufactured on the same production line that produces the Toyota Innova Hycross. MSIL is delivering around 500 to 700 units of the Invicto per month, which translates into close to 7-8 months waiting period. The top-spec Alpha+ variant is the top-seller and has accounted to majority of the Invicto sales.
Toyota Innova Hycross
The Innova Hycross has been receiving huge response from personal car buyers all across the country. The MPV comes with several high-end features and offer segment-leading space for both second-and third-row occupants. The MPV is offered with both strong hybrid and petrol engine options.
The hybrid version of the Innova Hycross has a waiting period of up to 65 weeks that’s more than 1 year. Similarly, the petrol variant of the Hycross has a waiting period of up to 26 weeks that’s 6 months. The MPV is available with two engine options – a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre petrol paired to a hybrid motor. The former is available with a CVT automatic unit, while the strong hybrid version is only available with an e-CVT unit.
Toyota Innova Crysta
The Innova Crysta is currently the most popular and longest-selling Toyota MPV in the country. This model is more famous among fleet operators and is offered in three variants with a single diesel engine option. The MPV currently have a waiting period of up to 7 months, which is also similar to the petrol derivative of the Innova Crysta.
The Toyota Innova Crysta is powered by a 2.4-litre turbo diesel engine that produces 148bhp of power and 343Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.
