Prabhas and Prashant Neel’s Salaar collected around 16 Crore Nett in the Hindi Belt on Saturday, the second day of its release.
The number is a bit more than its opening day. The clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and the lack of a good release has hampered its growth.
But no drops mean it is good news for the long run.
The Two Days total is around 31 Crore Nett and it will clock more than 50 Crore Nett in the first weekend.
It is a good number but the real number should have been much better if not for the clash.
Then, there is the Christmas holiday which will also help.
Even if the film sustains the holiday period it will be doing at a far lower level than it would have if it was a solo release.
Dunki on its third day has collected around 24-25 Crore Nett which is decent but still not up to the mark for the SRK – Hirani combination.
It is doing well only in big centres be it Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Kolkata. Even Bengaluru is impacted by Salaar.
The Three days total is 72 Crore Nett and we will have to see where the family audience takes it in the next two days.
