2,700 km with my Hero Vida V1 Pro: The good, the bad & the ugly

I have done 2,700 kms on this now, I have no complaints regarding the scooter itself but the dealer still hasn’t updated his records and until that happens I can’t charge at the fast charging stations of Vida or Ather.

BHPian v4run recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

Adding the much awaited pictures that I should’ve long time ago.

The front look (I personally love the new look showcased at EICMA better than this one)

Some pictures at night

This is how it looks in the day time, I was once chased by some randoms on the road just to compliment how ravishing the bike looks, this is a first for me.

The boot space and the battery compartment looks like this, outperforms most ICE scooters. This will fit a cheap full faced helmet but won’t fit a full sized helmet like the axor apex or even the vega bolt. I tried forcing the lid to close on it but it refused to open afterwards.

The seat splits like this in the middle and it is hard to clean as you can see

The charger has this test function where you can check if the plug you are putting it in can take the load.

The charger looks like this

The bike has a usb port on the front which is useful to charge your phone in emergencies(It charges very slow)

The above image also shows the huge touch screen which is not developed to its full potential. I mean look at what ather and Ola are doing.

The switches

The mode change button is conveniently placed and it gets the job done I wish it was up and down like the headlight switch is just so that I won’t have to cycle through the modes while going from eco to ride and ride to eco.

Update

I have done 2700 kms on this now, I have no complaints regarding the scooter itself but the dealer still hasn’t updated his records and until that happens I can’t charge at the fast charging stations of Vida or Ather (yes, you can charge at ather stations now it works)

I had a small accident a few days ago and the front brake lever took most of the brunt of the fall and it had to replaced cost 400/-. The lower side copper color plastic has broken too, I’ll claim insurance on it, I got squeezed between a Tata ace and an auto rickshaw and my handlebar got stuck in the Tata ace, I am very happy that there was so minimal damage even after that. If it was my pulsar the repair cost would be close to 2000/-.

Will try my best to keep this thread updated and alive.
