AQI reached 149, will increase further in the coming days

It was as a result of fog and mist that the AQI reached 149 on Thursday. It is not likely to decrease in the coming days, rather it may increase further in the coming days. Talking about Wednesday, AQI had reached 263 around 2 o'clock in the night. Experts say that due to dense fog at night, visibility decreases and AQI increases. If AQI is between 101 and 200, it is considered that the air quality is deteriorating. May cause concern for people extremely sensitive to air pollution. In such circumstances, individuals with respiratory or cardiovascular health conditions are advised to limit outdoor exertion. If the AQI crosses 200 and reaches 300, the air quality is considered poor, which is especially dangerous for respiratory patients.
