Preparations for the Prana Pratistha ceremony of Ramlala to be held in Ayodhya on 22 January 2024 are in their final stages. There are two idols of Rama Lala, one of which will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. According to sources connected with Sriram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, the second idol which is currently placed in a small temple, is also planned to be enshrined in the Garbha Griha itself along with the new idol. The new idol will be called Achal Murti, and the old idol will be known as Utsavamurti.

The Utsavamurti will be taken to different Siddha temples in the country, after which it too will be installed near the Achal Murti inside the Garbha Griha. 3 sculptors Ganesh Bhatt, Arun Yogiraj and Satyanarayan Pandey have been entrusted with the task of making the new idol of Ram Lala. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the inauguration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on 22 January 2024.

Ayodhya Airport-Railway Station will be inaugurated on December 30

Earlier, PM Modi is coming to Ayodhya on December 30, where he will inaugurate the newly constructed Ayodhya Dham Railway Station and Shriram International Airport. He will also address a public meeting near the airport. The commissioner of Ayodhya said that Prime Minister Modi will take out a road show in Ayodhya from the airport to the railway station.

BJP will launch 'Ek Diya Ram Mandir Ke Naam' campaign from January 1

Indian Railways has announced to run more than 1000 trains from different parts of the country to facilitate the citizens coming to Ayodhya during the first 100 days after the inauguration of the Ram Temple. Meanwhile, the BJP has decided to launch a campaign for the Ram Mandir festival from January 1, in which party workers will go door-to-door in all the villages of the country and encourage 10 crore families to participate in the 'Ek Diya Ram Mandir Ke Naam' programme.

The Vedic ritual for Prana-Pratishtha ceremony will start from January 16

Vedic rituals for Prana-Pratishtha ceremony will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid and Lakshmi Kant Dixit will be the main celebrants at the ceremony. A huge crowd of devotees is expected to turn up in Ayodhya keeping in mind the Pran Pratistha ceremony. Security arrangements have been increased for this. Three-tier security of CISF, UPSSF and UP Police will be seen in Ayodhya.
