Elnaaz Norouji is an actress who is famous for her role in one of India's hit series, Sacred Games. She made her Hollywood debut with the film “Kandahar” and shared the screen with the popular Gerard Butler. But recently, this cutie made a grand entry in Nandamuri Kalyan Ram starrer 'Devil'. Playing an important role in the first film, she danced in a special song with bold looks and impressed everyone. “Devil” which was released worldwide on December 29, got a super hit talk. On this occasion, let's have a look at the latest interview given by the heroine 'Elnaz Nowrouji'.
Born and brought up in Iran, how did you come to Indian cinema?
I grew up watching Hollywood and Bollywood movies since childhood. So.. My dream is to act in Bollywood j. India has a uniqueness that is not found anywhere in the world. All arts are encouraged here. I like it very much. That's why I wanted to act here.
You have experience working in Bollywood. How was the experience of working in a Telugu film?
Very happy to be introduced to the Telugu audience through the movie 'Devil'. I gave a special appearance through a song in this movie. Got a good response. People in the South are very polite and value family traditions. Especially, I love Telugu people. I am very proud to act in a Telugu film. If I get a chance, I will definitely do it with all the heroes in Telugu.
What was it like to play Devil? How did Chance get into this film?*
There is no experience of making any film in Telugu before. I did a lot of homework to sing in 'Devil', if I didn't know some things I did it. For me, I was taken by my dance in this film. I don't know much about banners. I feel very happy to work in Abhishek Pictures production in South India and to be introduced by them.
Ask for work with Kalyan Ram
I was lucky to work with Kalyan Ram. He is very silent on the set and also shy.. He helped me a lot on the set. Especially, he gave me many tips while speaking dialogues. I enjoyed spending time with him. I know seven languages so far. Learn Telugu soon.
Have you noticed any difference between Tollywood and Bollywood?
Tollywood is very new to me. So, I can't talk about that right now. At present all are working as professionals.
Tell us about your future projects?
Sangeen is an upcoming thriller with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The movie 'Raneeti' is a series released in Jio Cinema. My song 'Woah' will also be released on the same platform. Well, there are many projects in the pipeline, as you will soon know.
